I know that this week’s pony doesn’t look quite like most of the custom I’ve been featuring on the blog, but it holds a special place in my heart. I read the Misty books when I was a little girl, and fell in love. The first book that I wrote (My Life With Pone) in 4th grade was basically a giant rip-off of the Misty series, except the horse was a green pegasus
So to find a My Little Pony of Misty was a real treat!
She’s even got a little bridle! I love this pony so much ^_^

Cute.
I’m not familiar with that series.

They are adorable – Misty has a baby in a storm, so they named it Stormy, and from that moment on I wanted a horse named Stormy (I even wrote it into the 4th grade book
)

That is so cute! Misty was my favorite book series growing up, too. I love that you found one and that bridle is too adorable.

Yay! Another horse lover ^_^ I think I might need to find a copy just so I can keep one around. I have no idea what happened to my old one.

I loved Misty of Chincoteague!
My parents have a beagle named Stormy. Almost the same thing.

Love this! Misty has always held a special place in my heart because it was the first “big person” book (as in not a picture book) that I read all by myself. I still remember that feeling of triumph when I finished. I actually bought a copy to reread about a year ago, but it’s still sitting on the TBR pile.

Awww, I should get myself a new copy too
We can have a book club and that can be the book we read for it
