I have to admit, when I first saw today’s pony I had no idea where it came from. But it looked so cool that I had to show it to you guys. Plus, it’s rare to see a G2 custom (Generation 2 were the freakishly thin ponies Hasbro tried – unsuccessfully – to reboot the franchise with in the 90s). After a quick Google search I found out that Visser Three is the main antagonist in the Animorphs series.
I love the bug eyes! How totally cool is that?

HAH! I read the Animorphs as a kid. When I first saw the title, I didn’t recognize it though. Now it’s coming back to me, lol. I don’t know what everyone has against the G2s; I like them.

Like I said: freakishly thin! The G1s were so well-rounded compared to them

Heh, that’s a good attempt. Though really, they should’ve make it blue (the females were purple) and with no mane. Loving the little symbol though. Yeerk. ^_^
Can you tell I was a total animorphs nut? I still own the series (under my bed). Though I was so disappointed by the ending.

Hm, true, he would have looked better more blueish, but I couldn’t find just the right paint, so purple it was. XD As for the mane and the rump design…well, this was a Visser Three pony…not an actual Andalite, so he’s a kind of mashup. XD No arms, either. I may someday try an actual Andalite pony.

PS–I was a bit disappointed at the ending, too. But I see where the author wanted to go so I guess I understand lol

Awesome!!! My daughters and I read the Animorph series together, so I knew exactly what you meant by Visser 3! We also watched the TV series; quite well done, actually.

Somehow I missed out on both the book and the tv series for this one, although I remember what the covers looked like. Even as a kid my tbr pile was too big to get through

Oh, Rebecca, thank you for this. My inner child just shouted in joy.

Ohmygosh, this is fantastic! He was my favorite character from the books…I totally had a crush on that alien horse! ;p

I would’ve preferred Elfangor. ^_^
