Today’s sticky comes from Pike’s Revenge, the Nano story I wrote for 2007. I finished the 50k on November 29th, and have about 25k to go before the story is complete. Then I get to start editing, and believe me Pike’s Revenge needs some major editing. Of course, being Nano the scene was much wordier in its completed form than that sticky makes it seem. When I write the stickies I usually try to get just the basics, and flesh it out once I’m writing the scene.
