It’s Time To SEE THE DEPTHS!

Happy Book Birthday to SEE THE DEPTHS!!

If you haven’t yet, you can buy your print and ebook copies direct from me!

I cannot tell you how much today means to me. This is the first sequel I’ve ever written (although it’s the eleventh book I’ve written if we’re counting). I had no idea how tough sequels could be, especially when you have no idea what happens! I knew what happened at the very end, because I know what happens in the third book, but for most of the book I was writing blind. Good thing I thrive on pantsing a novel in a short amount of time (RIP NaNoWriMo).

In all seriousness, this book was hell to write. It took me far longer than it should have. Handwriting failed me for the first time ever, and I used 4thewords.com for more than half of the novel (thank goodness for word wars against monsters!). I sent a version out to my CPs that was so bad I didn’t even hear back from most of them (ouch). Luckily, one CP and two beta readers came through, as did my own brain, and I managed to sculpt that messy draft into something early readers have raved about!

"Enzor's vivid, evocative prose paints a mesmerizing picture of this underwater world, immersing the reader in lush descriptions that bring every aspect of Seadom to life in exquisite detail. The rich, multi-faceted characters are a testament to Enzor's storytelling prowess, as they navigate complex relationships and personal challenges with authenticity and depth, drawing the reader in and eliciting a genuine emotional connection." ~Indi Bookworm
"Holy seafoam, what a ride! A phenomenal followup to the worldbuilding of book one. This was so good I binged it in a day.

Niku is still my favorite."
~Regina Sage, Goodreads

Also, shout out to my copyeditor, Sarah Opst, who was an absolute HERO GODDESS, because half of my quote tags were messed up in formatting and she fixed every single one. She also fixed all my misplaced commas, and even pointed out some structural stuff I had missed in my own edits.

And now it’s time to send that baby book out into the world! I’m proud of what I accomplished with it, and I’m so excited to wrap up Finn and Erie’s story in Book Three, which I’ll start posting on my Ream in May. (and then I’m excited to get back to my beloved Fie Eoin and write Kari’s story, because she’s my favorite <3)

I’ll be at the Mermaid Festival this weekend, signing books and hanging out with the mermaids. If you’re in the PNW, come see me! And if you’re farther away, I’ll have signed books for sale when I return 🙂

Thank you for all your support through the years <3 I know way back in 2019 when some of you first read StO, we never thought there’d be another. Some stories take longer than others.
