So, today’s sticky may seem a little boring (aside from the bottom of it that talks about Holidays), but it actually is a very important part of Phooka Tales. I’m working on editing Phooka Tales this year, and the majority of the story is based on my making my main character’s life as horrible as possible, but in very small ways. I need to pile up so much stress on this character that she starts having visions (or are they actually real?) of mythological creatures. This is one of those tiny little stresses that builds on itself with all the other thousand tiny little stresses that cause Holly to snap. But this one, unlike many of the others, leads to a solution in the end.
And now that we are very busy at work again, I can feel all those tiny little stresses building up in my life too. I think I need a vacation. I don’t suppose anyone knows when The Queen’s Birthday is? Maybe I’ll take that day off to celebrate.
