20. What are your favorite character interactions to write?
Hmmm, I’m really not sure for this question. I love to write fight scenes (verbal, not physical), so Lane and Rebecca are high up on my list of who I love to write interacting with each other. But I also love it when Gar goes all poetic and lovesick on Kindra and says things that make you feel like you have a warm fuzzy towel wrapped around you (this is more than you would think, him being a great warrior and all). And I really had fun writing Apollo and Daphne’s scenes when she would terrorize him ruthlessly by flirting and then telling everyone they were just friends (although Psyche was the master of this, and probably his scenes with Psyche were the most fraught with sexual tension that made him go stupid).
But, no, I do think arguing is my favorite. The only character of mine that never gets into big arguments is Mika (and Sipi, unless he’s around Karigan who is just like her mother in loving a good fight). I could spend hours listening to Lane and Rebecca fight. I don’t know why I take some perverse pleasure in that.
