Custom of the Week: Melusine the (sort of) Merpony

Happy Sunday, Aledan Merfolk! I’m sure it’s no secret at this point that my favorite custom ponies are ocean-themed, so when I saw today’s custom with her absolutely stunning mer-dress I just knew I had to feature her. As the customizer says, Melusine is “a beautiful woman who turns into a two-tailed mermaid in secret. Once her husband discovers what she is, she turns into a dragon and flies away.” Instead of making her a full merpony, Iris gave her a dragon design and hand-stitched a two-tailed merpony dress that she can wear to “change” into a merpony. What a clever way to show this fairytale as a custom pony!

  1. Very cool! I’d never heard of that legend before. Beautiful custom. Love the sparkly and the dragon cutie symbol. The mermaid tail dress is also very creative. Great find!
